Job Title: High School Principal

Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and student-centered leader to join Moose Lake Community Schools as our High School Principal. The ideal candidate will be an instructional leader, a strong communicator, and a collaborative administrator committed to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture that supports academic excellence and student growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a shared vision for student achievement, school improvement, and academic excellence.
• Lead and support faculty and staff in delivering high-quality instruction and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Oversee daily school operations, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive climate for all students and staff.
• Manage school resources and budgets effectively to support educational programs and initiatives.
• Engage with students, parents, and the community to build strong relationships and partnerships.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, equity, and continuous improvement among staff and students.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal education regulations and district policies.
• Communicate regularly with district leadership, staff, and families to provide updates on school progress, challenges, and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in educational leadership, preferably as a high school principal or in a similar administrative role.
• Current Minnesota Principal License or ability to obtain one.
• Strong instructional leadership skills and a commitment to student-centered learning.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to create and sustain a positive and inclusive school culture.
• Experience managing school budgets and resources effectively.
• Knowledge of state and federal education laws and policies.
